Castlevania: Lament of Innocence

November 10th, 2003

So I went out and bought the new Castlevania for PS2 today. Been playing it for a little bit, and so far it seems pretty cool. I think I still perfer the older 2D games, like Symphony of the Night. Still not used to the whole 3D thing, though this one seems much better thought out than Castlevania 64 on the N64. I’ll try to remember to write up a bit more on it once I finish it.

Also today, Andrea came by to pick up her gift, a Finding Nemo DVD. Turns out she already bought it a few days ago. Figures ☹ What’s she doing buying things so close to her birthday anyway?

Aw man! I am jealous! We don’t get the new Castlevania over here until February or something, and even then I won’t have a Playstation of my own to play it on. I hope you are enjoying it Chip!

Oh, I am :) It’s not really the same feel as a 2D Castlevania, but it’s still fun. I kindof wish it was more puzzle based and less kill-a-room-full-of-enemies, but ah well.

this game is sick i thought it would suck because of the old 64 3d games turns out that this is the fist castlevania game in 3d i actually like. I still prefer the old 2d version as SOTN, Alucard should return to the playstaion along with the other belmonts for a 2d come back.
