Not a terribly exciting weekend, but a mostly good weekend. Saturday,
Andrea went into Boston with her mother, which left me with the whole
day and nothing terribly important to do.
Dave and I had agreed upon
having a small LAN party at SimPro, but by the time I got to SimPro and
called Dave, he claimed to have forgotten about the whole thing. In case
you haven’t been following this journal, this sort of thing seems to
happen to me fairly often, so I’m getting used to it. I ended up going
over to Jason’s house and watching
Stargate instead, then I wandered home and watched TV till Andrea came
home. She brought me cheesecake from a place in Boston. Chocolate chip
cookie dough cheesecake to be exact, and it was tasty.

Sunday was a sit around the house and do nothing all day long sort of
day. Andrea and I did approximately nothing. I went out and rented 3
Die Hard movies, we watched the first one and part of the second one
before getting tired and going to bed.

Today we went over to my parents’ house for lunch. Ralph, my
step-father, is in Australia on a business trip, so it was just my mom,
grandmother, step brothers, and their family. We had suvlaki (no clue on
spelling), spaghetti salad, sunshine salad, and beans. For dessert, we
had lemon meringue pie (one of my favorites), and chocolate brownie pie.
It was all very tasty. Most people left around 5, but Andrea and I stayed till about 9, just talking to my mom. It was nice.

It’s also been raining since about 6 or 7. It’s thundering pretty bad,
and there’s plenty of lightning. It’s probably not too smart to be on my
computer, but oh well.
