Lot’s of Stuff

Been a while since I’ve posted, and a lot of stuff has been going on. Perhaps the most important thing is that Andrea is staying at her parents house for a while. She hasn’t been happy in the apartment recently, and decided that we needed some time apart. We got together on Saturday to hang out for the day though. We went down to Methuen to see 8 Mile, but after we had gotten some lunch/dinner, we decided it was snowing too much and that we should probably head home before the roads got bad. We ended up renting Spider-Man and watching that instead.
Work has been very busy recently. We did an install in Goodrich Falls, NH, which is farther north than I like to regularly go. It’s about a 2-2.5 hour drive from Manchester. Unfortunatly, it’s not running too well, and we’re headed up this coming Friday to try and fix it. We have another install coming up tomorrow (today) which I should probably get to sleep for. Also this week are two demos that I probably need to work some magic to get ready for. Tueday though, I’m heading down to Boston for the Embedded Systems Conference. I had a good time there last year, and I’m really looking forward to going again. It should be good to see what Wasabi has brought along this year, now that we’re actually using NetBSD.
I’ve also been doing some more wardriving, and have made a post in wardrivers about that. I’ve rented Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 for the week, though I havn’t played it much yet. Seems tougher than 3. So far it’s pretty cool though. Too bad my PS2 isn’t online. Speaking of online, AT&T has been getting really crappy in the evening recently. In CS I’d normally see pings around 30-40ms, now I’m seeing 300-400ms. It usually gets better slightly after midnight. I tried their live chat tech support, but was basically given a stupid list of things to try, like removing my router and clearing my browser cache. Apparently these weird “pings” and “traceroutes” are beyond the ken of first tier tech support, or they just don’t want to deal with it.
Ah well, off to bed with me.
