Well, I haven’t really been up to much in my month of unemployment. The job hunt hasn’t been going too well, I’ve sent out a bunch of resumes and applications, but haven’t heard much back. I know a bunch of you have asked for a copy of my resume at one point or another, so I figure I’ll just post it here. I’ve managed to create the resume in one of the geekest ways I came across (short of writing it in “LaTeX”:http://www.latex-project.org/), the “XML Resume Library”:http://xmlresume.sourceforge.net/. It’s a set of tools and XSL for transforming an XML resume into the various forms above. It’s got some neat features for being able to generate multiple targetted resumes from a single XML, using named targets. It’s pretty slick, though it hasn’t been updated for a while, which is kindof disheartening.
