Been thinking a little bit about how to go about controlling the shutdown and startup of the MobilePC. In a car at least, I would like it to start up a few seconds after the car starts, and shutdown and power off once the engine is stopped. I’d also like it to not power on if its outside of it’s operational temperature range, instead waiting for th e temp to heat up/cool down enough to be safe.

My dad gave me a Basic stamp a couple years ago, and I’m beginning to think this would be a perfect use for it.
